Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) is an institution of award-giving to entrepreneurs,
founded by Ernst & Young in 1986, to introduce active entrepreneurs as a role model
and to help such entrepreneurs appear one after another. EOY is now conducted in
43 countries (approximately 50 countries will participate in 2009). This year, EOY
Japan will be greeted with 9th-year, conducted since 2001 as the sole institution of
award-giving to Japanese entrepreneurs to help them debut in an international stage.
Award winners of EOY JAPAN 2009, together with those representing each country,
will participate in WORLD EOY2010 to be held in May, 2010, for the selection of
WORLD EOY2010 where the number one entrepreneur in the world will be chosen.
